The menopause has rightly been in the media spotlight in recent years, with HRT frequently offered as the treatment of choice.
This may not be desirable or suitable for all women, and we as practitioners have so much more to offer.
In addition, more and more women are coming to our treatment rooms with signs of early fertility decline and premature menopausal symptoms.
The aim of this course is for you to understand the transition into and beyond menopause, and how to simply and elegantly support this process with your acupuncture treatment.
At the end of this day you will:
- Recognise the signs and symptoms of perimenopause and menopause
- Diagnose and treat premature ovarian insufficiency
- Understand fertility & medical options around POI
- Understand the various medical menopausal treatments including HRT
- Learn more about the biomedicine options in this phase of life
This course aims not just to inform but to empower you, the acupuncturist, to become a true source of support for women, from the point of ovarian decline, through to menopause.
Online CPD - Early Bird £125 / Full rate £150
Early Bird rate (applies if booked no later than 6 weeks in advance)
To get the most out of this course, we highly recommend that participants attend live. However, the session will be recorded and the replay made available for a limited time of 3 months, for anyone unable to attend on the day.
