Free Su Wen Herbs training course

Date(s): 17 - 19 July 2024

Time: 10am - 5pm

Eligibility: Acupuncture graduates and 3rd year students (cannot attend on a clinical day)

Venue: College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading

Su Wen Press is delighted to offer a comprehensive 3-day CPD training course on the Su Wen Herbs supplements, created by Giovanni Maciocia®, C.Ac (Nanjing), World Renowned Author, Acupuncturist and Herbalist, based on his 39 years of clinical experience and research.

The course will cover how the Su Wen Herbs formulas can be integrated into clinical practice offering a new skill set to patients. This hands-on material can broaden your scope of the therapeutic range, as acupuncture and herbal supplements work complementarily, improving results in chronic and acute cases.

This practical course will cover formula strategies, compositions, and pairing. It will provide a holistic overview of the Su Wen Herbs supplements, covering in-depth the families of formulae and each of the 95 formulas that make up The Three Treasures, Women’s Treasure, and The Little Treasures lines. Upon completion of the course, practitioners will be equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to safely use the Su Wen Herbs supplements in practice.

Petra Tjeertes, LAc, and Phytotherapist will discuss how practitioners can address the manifestations and/or the root with both herbal supplements and acupuncture and will cover other clinical situations that practitioners encounter, to discover practical solutions where herbal supplements may help.

This is a free course, held in person at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and live streamed online.
