Minister Fire - life-force, fertility, creativity

Date(s): 07 December 2017

Time: 10am - 5pm

Eligibility: All

Venue: College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading

The term Minister Fire is used to describe the functions of the san jiao (triple heater), xin zhu (master-heart) and xin bao luo (heart protection and connection/pericardium). They are linked to ming men (the gate of life) and tan zhong (the sea of qi in the chest) – the centers of life-force, fertility and creativity.

During this seminar we will explore these vital aspects of the fire element, by looking at their presentation within the classical texts and discussing their use in modern practice.
