Everything you ever wanted to know about moxa

Day 1 gives an introduction to rice grain moxa, particularly the Sawada style root treatment, its application to health maintenance, promotion of immunity and adaptation to a range of clinical conditions – you will learn the Sawada style protocol and give and receive a full treatment
Day 2 (day 1 a prerequisite) will explain the structure of moxa treatments – combined with acupuncture, and moxa only. Adapting rice grain moxa and moxa cones to tonify, warm, drain and clear heat. You will be shown how to roll different kinds of cones and moxa balls, regulate heat and will practise the different techniques on yourself and a partner – by the end of day 2 you’ll be able to use a range of different moxa techniques
Snow Wang grew up in China and studied acupuncture and herbal medicines with some highly respected Chinese medicine doctors there. She also studied in Japan and UK. She runs a reputable multi-disciplinary clinic in Croydon, Surrey. Since 2006 after an apprentice study in Japan, Snow committed herself to offering students to come for clinical observations. This hands-on clinical practice workshop has developed from having many students study in her clinic.
