Cupping therapy application
Cupping therapy is traditionally employed alongside the acupuncture treatment as part of the Traditional Chinese Medicine arsenal. However, this ancient but effective tool can also be used on its own by the beauty therapists, massage therapists and during physiotherapy sessions.
Most common medical conditions which Cupping Therapy can be employed: Common cold, asthma, cough, musculoskeletal complaints such as back ache, sports injuries to muscle and joints, arthritic or rheumatic conditions, some skin conditions such in the treatment of acne, psoriasis or eczema, digestive complaints, gynaecological complaints such as painful periods, abdominal cramps and when treating the infertility patterns.
Aims and objectives of the course are to teach safe cupping practice of common ailments as well as the cosmetic cupping methods. Benefits and contraindications of cupping therapy will also be discussed.
