Understanding Chinese food energetics with Danny Blyth and Greg Lampert
Aims and objectives of the course:
- understand the energetics of different food types
- develop your ability to prescribe specific diets based on constitutional types
- Learn practical ways to use diet as part of your treatment strategy
- Learn to evaluate the effect of diet over a course of treatment

A great opportunity to explore the many ways that nutrition can supplement you and your practice. We will examine the fundamentals of Chinese Nutrition (flavour, temperatures and food types) and consider what makes good, appropriate and achievable dietary advice.
We also aim to have a lot of fun deepening our knowledge of our favourite foods and recipes!
Danny Blyth lives in the Cotswolds, and has practised Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Tai Chi in Cheltenham since 1999. He teaches at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading.
Greg Lampert lives in Oxford. He originally trained as a nutritionist before moving on to study Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in the late eighties. Now he practises and teaches at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.
