Clinical study trip to Guangzhou, China Autumn 2008

Tony Booker led a successful three-week trip for practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine which included two weeks’ clinical experience in one of China’s most modern hospitals where participants had the opportunity to treat patients under the watchful eye of senior TCM doctors, and lectures from hospital staff.

Event description

bill_ryan.jpgDevelop sensitivity to qi in yourself and others with Bill Ryan at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading.

Do you feel your qi? Can you feel your or others’ acupuncture lines or points? Can you differentiate between your and another person’s qi? Is your qi grounded, balanced, and stable? Bill will teach you exercises that can enable you to say yes to these questions. You’ll also learn a framework to help you organise and interpret your and your patients’ or students’ experiences. Anyone with an interest in qi is welcome. This course will prepare you for more advanced seminars in The art of projecting qi and The art of actively using qi.

Bill Ryan has studied qi gong, tai chi, and related energy arts for 29 years with Daoist Lineage Master Bruce Frantzis. In 1992 Bill founded Brookline Tai Chi near Boston, USA which under his direction reached a peak enrollment of over 450 students. He now teaches qi gong and practises qi gong tui na bodywork.
