Event description

barbara kirschbaum.jpgIllustrated seminar exploring what the tongue tells us about our patients’ constitution and disease pattern, with Barbara Kirschbaum at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading.

The basic principles of tongue diagnosis will be discussed using up to 300 pictures of tongues. Tongue colour and shape will be of great importance during this session as both help to determine the patient’s constitution and disease pattern according to the Eight Principles. This will be followed by a discussion of common clinical tongue signs in relation to the five zang.

The aim of this workshop is to enable the student to gain a greater confidence in  evaluating the different tongue signs
