Clinical study trip to Guangzhou, China Autumn 2008

Tony Booker led a successful three-week trip for practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine which included two weeks’ clinical experience in one of China’s most modern hospitals where participants had the opportunity to treat patients under the watchful eye of senior TCM doctors, and lectures from hospital staff.

We intend to run another in autumn 2009

Event description

pietro fenizio.jpgLearn how to transform people’s emotions by releasing stuck energy using the Six Healing Sounds in this practical workshop with meditation and qi gong practitioner Pietro Speroni di Fenizio at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading.

The Six Healing Sounds are used to transform people's emotions by releasing energy stuck in the five yin Organs – the Lungs, Kidneys, Liver, Heart and Spleen.  There is also a sixth sound for the Triple Warmer, to balance the energy between the Organs.

This mainly practical workshop will enable you to:
>  release the energy stuck in the Organs by releasing the tissue surrounding an organ and by massaging it
>  practise the Sounds for the Lungs, Kidneys, Liver, Heart, Spleen and Triple Warmer
>  practise the position of each Sound for the Lungs, Kidneys, Liver, Heart, Spleen and Triple Warmer
>  practise the order, repetitions and visualisations for the Sounds
>  know how to deepen your practice in daily life.

Some additional advanced material will teach you to work on multiple Sounds at the same time, in groups of three, to make sure the energy flows smoothly from one Organ to the next in the creation cycle.

Maximum number 40
