Do you feel your qi? Can you feel others’ qi? Do you feel different qualities of qi? Can you feel individual meridian lines or acupuncture points? Do you feel the field of qi that surrounds your body? Can you tell the differences between sensations of your physical body, your qi, and your emotions? Do you feel shifts in qi, e.g. when it increases or decreases?
Bill will help you explore these and other questions. In doing so, you’ll learn: Anyone with an interest in qi is welcome. If you are an acupuncturist, this workshop can help you become more subtle, accurate, and powerful in your needling techniques, and help you better connect with and interpret your patients’ experiences. If you are a qi gong practitioner, this workshop can help you to feel qi better, move more qi, and interpret more clearly whatever sensations you do feel. Many of the qi sensitivity exercises will be drawn from the art of qi gong. Bill will teach you a qi gong practice so that during and after the workshop you’ll have a ‘vessel’ within which to develop your sensitivity further.
Bill Ryan has studied qi gong, tai chi, and related energy arts for 28 years with Daoist Lineage Master Bruce Frantzis (energyarts.com). Bill is the most senior of Bruce’s nine senior instructors in Europe and the US. Course fee£150 Refunds cannot be made unless at least two weeks notice is given.
