The College Weekday Clinic

There are six fully qualified practitioners with a wealth of experience and expertise.

They are all members of the British Acupuncture Council or the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine and have been practising for many years.

The Clinic Practitioners:

Judith Clark has been in practice for over 18 years and uses both acupuncture and Chinese herbs. She is Academic Director at the College, teaching and supervising students in the clinical phase of the course.

Magda Koc (pronounced Kotz) has been in practice for 27 years. Since 1997 she has practised in Reading as well as teaching on the acupuncture course at the College. She also offers supervision/mentoring for acupuncturists.

Greg Lampert has been in practice for 20 years. He treats a wide range of conditions using acupuncture and Chinese herbs. He has taught acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at the College since it was founded.

Peter Linthwaite has been practising for 10 years. He teaches on the acupuncture degree course at the College and is responsible for its research and reflective practice programme.

Jackie Shaw has been a qualified acupuncturist for more than 20 years. She teaches Chinese medicine theory, practical acupuncture skills and research at the College. She also directs the College Clinical Outcome study and supervises students as module leader for the research and reflective practice programme.

Karen Starr has been in practice for 10 years and is also the College Registrar. She has a young family and has witnessed at first hand the benefits of acupuncture in pregnancy and childbirth.

Consultation £50 – 90 minutes
Follow up appointments £36 - 45 minutes
