Event description
Bill Ryan

Develop the ability to listen to and evaluate other people's qi with Bill Ryan at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading.

Once you have learned how to project and withdraw (push and pull) qi with sufficient precision, volume, and clarity, you can use that qi for applications ranging from martial arts to acupuncture to qi gong healing or teaching. Each such application to some extent requires that you be able to use your qi to 'listen' to and through another person’s body and evaluate various aspects of the state of their qi. During this course, Bill will teach the basics of this listening skill. Prerequisite: The Art of Projecting Qi seminar or permission of the instructor based on equivalent experience and skill.

Suitable for acupuncturists, qi gong teachers and others.

Bill Ryan has studied qi gong, tai chi, and related energy arts for 29 years with Daoist Lineage Master Bruce Frantzis. In 1992 Bill founded Brookline Tai Chi near Boston, USA which under his direction reached a peak enrollment of over 450 students. He now teaches qi gong and practises qi gong tui na bodywork.
