Event description
Learn how to apply this valuable tool in your practice, with Lillian Bridges at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading.
This course is designed to introduce the ancient science of Chinese face reading as it applies to diagnosis. The face shows numerous clues about personality, life experiences, the emotions and indications about the body’s internal function.
This two-day workshop will include an analysis of facial maps, an overview of the meanings of the features and markings and an evaluation of signs of organ excess and deficiency. In addition, participants will learn to interpret markers for specific diseases, recognise issues and patterns that contribute to disease and will be given recommendations for treatments based on case studies.
Facial diagnosis gives practitioners valuable tools that can be immediately applied in their clinics.
Lillian Bridges is an internationally renowned author and lecturer and she has taught both complementary and allopathic health practitioners how to utilise facial diagnosis in their practices. A professor of Oriental medicine and daoist philosophy, Lillian learned her skills from a long line of Chinese practitioners in her family. She received her formal education at UCLA in the US, where she earned her degree in psychology. She is the founder of The Lotus Institute and is a featured speaker at conferences, conventions and symposiums around the world. A contributor to several books on Chinese medicine, her own title, Face Reading in Chinese Medicine was published by Churchill Livingstone in 2003.
