Event description
Bill Ryan

A one-day seminar for acupuncturists, qi gong teachers and others with an interest in qi, with Bill Ryan at 21 South Street Arts Centre, Reading.

Before you can actively use qi in acupuncture treatments, qi gong instruction, or other applications, you need to learn how to project your qi with clarity and precision. Toward this end, Bill will teach you how to push and pull qi with your hands, both in and out of the air and in and along the general surfaces of your and others’ bodies. This course will prepare you for more advanced seminars such as 'The art of feeling and moving qi within body layers and channels'.
Prerequisite: Completion of 'The art of feeling qi' seminar, or permission of the instructor based on equivalent experience and skill.

Bill Ryan has studied qi gong, tai chi, and related energy arts since 1980 with Daoist Lineage Master Bruce Frantzis. In 1992 Bill founded Brookline Tai Chi near Boston, USA which under his direction reached a peak enrollment of over 450 students. He now teaches qi gong and practises qi gong tui na bodywork.
